KunshanCulture&ArtCenter(KCAC) released on Jan.23 thatit is going to launch the firstconcert series for the generalpublic starting fromFeb.16.After that, the KCAC will stagefivemore shows inApril, June,August,October andDecemberat affordable prices rangingfromRMB30, 50, 80, to 100 yuan.
The concert series includeString QuartetConcert“Sen toChihiro no kamikakushi”on Feb.16,“ThreeOrientalGentlemen”Tenors China Tour KunshanChapter on April 23, TABCConcert“VoiceofAmericanAngel, ColorfulWorld”on June21, U.S. Seth Jazz OrchestraConcert“Listening to Broadway, Reliving Oscar”on August 5, Russian Music Gala“GloriousAria”TrioOperaMasterpieces Concert on October10, Chinese saxophone princeWu Di’s China Tour“EndlessLove”onDecember14.
The purpose of the concertseries is tomake highbrow artaccessible to every citizen ofthe city and bring art to everyday life.The event is alsomeantto encourage citizens to attendart shows, concerts and lectures onmonthly basis in a bidto improve their tasteofart.
Besides, theKCACwill introduce a Children's play SuperMario on Feb.14 for the fun ofparents and their children together.Meanwhile, the KCAChas decided to set aside everyfourth Sunday as FreeDay as ofFebruary so that any citizen canget in and have a look around atno charge at all. Following alecture by PekingOperamasterShang Changrong scheduled onFeb.15, theKCACwillopen anart class every first Saturday inevery other month, i.e. inMarch,May, July, Septemberand November, and invite famous artists and professors tobring art to the reach ofKunshan locals.
