  Xinxin Garden, a residential quarter in Penglang Township, Kunshan Economic & Technological Development District (KETD), has recently opened a new facility: New Kunshanese Culture Club. Renovated from a building originally in Xinxin Garden, the 3200 square-kilometer self-contained club is meant to serve those who have migrated to Kunshan and are now working and living nearby.
The same facility is expected to be opened in all the 11 districts and towns of Kunshan this year and put under effective management and use. As a new initiative to perfect its public cultural service system including such three levels as city, town and village, the club is designed to provide convenient and fully-equipped facilities for migrant workers so that more grassroots people can benefit from it. Currently, the contruction or renovation of the clubs, adding up to 108,000 square meters in area, is underway in every district and town.
