2012 Warmth and Love in Kunshan (2012 WALK), a campaign jointly run by Kunshan Charity Society (KSCS), Kunshan Civilization Office, Kunshan Civil Affairs Bureau, Kunshan Daily Group, Kunshan TV & Radio Group, Kunshan Post Office, was officially launched last week. With RMB300 yuan only, a donator can buy a big gift bag; all the gift bags will be given out to such underprivileged population as low-income families, senior citizens without dependance, orphans, etc. across the city.
　 As a large charity project initiated by KSCS last year, WALK is meant to provide a platform for CSR-minded companies, volunteer organizations and individuals to donate daily necessities for distressed families. On the eve of Spring Festival last year, WALK had raised over 4,000 gift bags. This year the campaign has once again been kicked off.
　　　 Corporate or individual participants can buy gift bags, each costing RMB300 yuan, and have them donated to designated people. Meanwhile, companies or organizations can order tailor-made post cards, with each card marked up RMB0.2 yuan as donation to the WALK fund.
The event is going on until the end of next January.
  Donators can go to Kunshan Charity Reception Service Center to purchase certain amount of gift bags. The KSCS will issue a receipt and a certificate to each donator. All the donated gift bags will be sent to underprivileged families on organized rounds in late January. For families with special difficulties, volunteers will work together with Kunshan Post Office to have the gift bags delivered directly to them.
